Anyone else taking this course that NFB is hosting? I'm about a quarter of the way through...is taking much longer than I expected. I will complete it, no matter how long it actually takes...I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there who is taking this course or is already certified?

I'm not currently taking it but it sounds interesting. Out of curiosity, what about it is making it take so long?
I would take a course like that but am not a fast enough braille reader to make any oney at it vocationally. I probably read about 75 words per minute. Also, what will you do with your certification once you've earned it?

It takes a while bcuse it's all done through thw mail. When I'm certified, I'd like to obtain work proofreading braille stuff for people.

I attempted to take it, I completed the first lesson and severely bombed it lol, so I gave up. It sounds good in theory but with working I just don't have the time they want you to put in to it. They are way to picky. If I could submit more often it might be worth the time but right now its just not practical. I understand why they want you to submit one a month because they want you to learn the material before progressing, but its still annoying. Good luck though, I hope its easy and that you are successful
